Helping people in need, here at Interlude

It's around this time of year I realize how spoiled (and how blessed) I am. I look at what some of the clients of Interlude go through in dealing with severe mental illness - from the stigma still surrounding mental illness, to the symptoms of their illnesses, to the side effects of their medications. When I think of those things I am thankful that I don't suffer as they do, and that they have help from Interlude. I believe those of us in the world who don't suffer as much (or who aren't at the moment) must help those who are suffering. Since it's 'birth' in 1978 through the vision of Celine Karraker, Interlude has provided a caring and warm place for people to receive help with their mental illness in a secure environment. Will you join me in counting your blessings today? Will you support Interlude and help someone who is struggling? Thank you and wishing a very Happy Holiday season to everyone once again. See you in 2010!
